My portfolio showcases various projects created. Below are a few of my projects that I have made through InDesign and Photoshop. I have listed them in chronological order so you can see how my work has improved since I first started working on projects.
1) Is the first project I created in Photoshop. For this project I wanted to challenge myself to create a satire of Homer reaching for Thor’s hammer. So I cropped Homer out of an original photo and pasted him into this one. I also changed his original shirt color from white to green.2)This is the second project I have worked on. This is a pictograph in which I creatively display data for the top 3 eye refractive errors in the United States. It took me some time to create this pictograph. At first there were blurry letters in the background instead of just white space. So instead of having the blurry letters I made the end of the glasses blurry to create an eye refractive error that someone who has an eye refractive error would see.3)This is a third project I have created. This is a Wet Layout that has place holder text. I created this wet layout in InDesign. I have edit this one quite a few times as well which includes removing the grey box from around blue and removing a cropped courage the cowardly dog from the bottom of the page. I also added Cartoon network at the star of the paragraph and made the “C” capital. I also added indents in the paragraphs around the images, so its more appealing to the eye.creating logos for a class offered at Central Michigan University. Using typography elements I created a total of 4 logos: One for the Faculty, Alumni, Recruites, and students. I used InDesign to create all logos. At first I just had the logos on a page then I addressed which logo was for which audience by labeling them underneath.5)This is the sixth project I have created. I created this image heavy advertisement for Victoria Secret in InDesign. Since it is the holiday season and the weather is getting colder I wanted to create an ad advertising warm cuddly things for night time when it comes to getting ready to go to bed because everyone loves sleep.6) This is the last project I have completed. It took a lot longer to make this data drivin infographic simply because i had no idea what to do it on i kept changing my mind over and over aging I had all these creative things to do it my head but when I went to do it i just simply could not do it. So instead of going overboard with something drastic I decided to stick with simple.
